• It’s that time again!  The annual Gaston family reunion will be held Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Nazareth Presbyterian Church in Moore, SC as decided unanimously at last year’s reunion.  We plan to eat at 12:00 noon, with the business meeting to follow afterwards.  Anyone wishing to arrive a little early is welcome.  The social hall will be open at 11:00.
• Lunch will be catered by Mutt’s barbeque.  They are providing complete set-up, service, and clean-up.  The meal will include barbeque pork and pulled chicken, slaw, baked beans, rolls, sweet potato soufflé, sauces and condiments, hot dogs for children, as well as tea (sweet and unsweet).  They will also provide all table-wear and buffet-type service.  The cost will be $8 for adults, $4 for children to be paid at the door.  Babies in arms are, of course, no charge. 
• Nazareth is graciously providing the air-conditioned social hall for the reunion at no charge.  Your officers feel that a love-offering would be appropriate again this year, to offer to the church in appreciation.  We will take donations the day of the reunion to be made to the church cemetery fund.  We feel that this type of  donation will not only benefit the church, but also the Gaston family, being that a large portion of the church cemetery is populated by members of our family whom have passed on before us. 
• Please bring any pictures, memorabilia, stories etc that you would like scanned an up loaded to the website at www.gastonfamilyreunion.net. This website will serve generations to come with our history.  
• Please RSVP by August 5th, 2009.
• We will elect new officials this year so please be thinking about whether or not you would like to take charge!
